My not so successful leader and ender quilt (in that I binge sewed it and didn’t do it as leader enders) has become a quilt top and I’m so happy how it turned out!
A bonus baby quilt is being made from the leftover easy breezy blocks. The border isn’t on but I’ve made the quilt top centre:
I am planning to use the sashing fabric for a simple slab border. I think there is enough going on in the quilt that a simple border will make the most sense.
Both quilts are working out much better than I expected!
This has to be your signature – sew yummy 🙂 Love it.
Your quilts are turning out great, so fun and colorful!
Such cheerful quilts!
Congratulations! Not only does the first quilt look great but to get a bonus one too. You should be VERY happy!
It’s SEW nice that you got a bonus Baby Quilt out of your Easy Breezy blocks. Congratulation on what will be two awesome quilts!!
So bright and cheerful! Both quilts are going to make someone very happy!
Color you successful! Two lovely quilts for the price of one. Beautiful! Thanks for sharing on Wednesday Wait Loss
So pretty and colourful, well done indeed!
I think the consistency of the background makes both these scrappy quilts really stand out! I like the border in the first quilt, and am looking forward the the finished quilts.
Ohya!!! Loving that bonus quilt!!
Wow! What cheerful and colorful finishes! I love that piano key border! I am so happy you shared this! Beautiful.
Love these colorful quilts! And the piano key border is a great feature. Thank you for sharing!
Beautiful, colorful quilts! I can’t always restrain myself when sewing leaders and enders either, the blocks just take over. Your setting with the friendship stars, is such a good idea.
Lovely quilt, I have blocks leftover from easy breezy too. I’ll have to see how many. Happy stitching!
Both quilts are gorgeous. So many pretty colors – bright and cheerful.
Your quilt tops are wonderful – I love them! You also inspired me to start making my own Easy Breezy blocks, they are certainly addictive.
Hey, done is done, right?! And this finish is so happy … I can see why you indulged yourself in seeing it through!
