At the beginning of 2020 I had 38 quilt projects unfinished, and I finished 21 of those during the year! I feel really good about that accomplishment. But I also started 42 new projects during 2021. Of those I finished 24 and one was tossed as it was barely started and I hated it. One is off the list as I know I don’t want to finish it (I think it was a thrift store find) and another I took off the list. After all of that there are 33 projects on the go as at the beginning of 2021.
Wow – I did accomplish a lot in 2020! The pandemic, working from home and just generally having more time to quilt is what made that happen. Who knows what 2021 will bring but most certainly for at least the first few months there will be lots of quilting time.

Work at home changes a lot about the clock. Don’t necessarily have to: shower/hair/makeup/dress/make breakfast/make lunch/drive to/drive from. My hubster is work from home since late March. His alarm is 70 minutes later than when he went into the office. For him that is sleep time which is good! (I retired in 2019 so unaffected by the work stuff).
Cheers to a wonderful 2021 in our studios!
Love the 2021 list and I too managed to complete alot in 2020, thanks to retirement and a pandemic there. May we continue to quilt and spread quilt love thru the rest of 2021! Have quilting , stay safe and sew on! A Scrappy Quilter https://quiltchatter.blogspot.com/
