Here is a crib quilt I made a few years ago.
One of the purposes of this blog is to record the quilts I have made. Sadly I’m not sure where I got the pattern as this is one I’d love to make again. It was backed with polar fleece and is technically not a quilt as I didn’t use batting – it would have been way too thick to quilt on my sewing machine if I had have used batting.
I can probably reconstruct the pattern if I look the quilt closely, but then again, this gives me the opportunity to widen my skills by putting together a brand new to me pattern.
The quilt went to a someone at work who was having a baby.

I’m pretty sure that I can pick out the pattern already. It looks very simple and quick to put together.
To be honest I think I just figured out the two blocks in the pattern too! I agree, I too think it would be super easy and fast to put together – especially with strip piecing.
Yes, strip piecing would make it go really quickly. I love the pattern! Another one to put in my file of ‘inspiration’ quilts that I want to make ‘someday’.
