I finished the my second H quilt this week and am calling it my What the H? quilt.

Those H blocks were fun to make. The only hard part about this quilt was finding colours that read the same for the various coloured H four patches. The backing was a piece of fabric I found at the thrift store some time ago. It doesn’t make for an exciting backing but I think it works. The quilt size is 36″ x 48″ and is made from 6″ finished H blocks.
This is my second quilt with this design and was made in the most part because I made a “few” too many blocks the first time around.

I don’t forsee any more H block quilts being made in the near future. I’m good with the two I’ve made.

Oh that is a fun one!
I like all the bright happy colors!
Love all the fun colors. That is a block I need to try out. Thanks for sharing.
What a clever name for the quilt! I also love how it is saying “hi” over and over as well. Congratulations on the finish and using up the extra H blocks!
Cute name for this H quilt which attracted my attention because my last name begins with H. Love all the colors. You did a great job making it!
Very cute H quilt, you made me remember I made one many years ago and donated it.
What an interesting pattern! First I didn’t even see the “H”s, just floating white squares. Then once I read the name of the quilt, all I can see is “H”… and then after reading Yvonne’s comment, now all I see is “HI” like she does!
Very, very cute. Congrats on your H finish!
I’m going to make this in a twin size for my grandson, Henry! Perfect!
