I was going through some quilting pictures and came across this one. Scarily I don’t remember making it and don’t remember where it got gifted to. A quilt forgotten but for some photographic evidence. How sad.
The material in the centre is of dogs, surrounded by scrappy 9 patches and then a narrower plain border. 
I know the pattern is a in a magazine I have from a “few” years ago. Either McCall’s Quick Quilts or Quiltmaker is my guess. Will have to update this entry when I get a chance to go through my magazines. I do like to have source for my quilts that aren’t my creation.
Your mind must have been busy somewhere else when you sew this quilt. My own mind often wander when I’m at the sewing machine. If you have picture evidence and a memory of this quilt in a magazine, you must indeed have made it. lol Maybe it was a charity quilt…
